Our research group focuses on the co-design and co-development of cyber-physical systems across their full life cycle. We integrate sensing, embedded systems, control, and electro-mechanical design to create reliable, safe, and energy-efficient systems with high performance in real-world environments. Our work spans the complete stack—from low-level hardware to high-level intelligence—and includes methods such as optimization, heterogeneous sensor fusion, and learning for repetitive tasks. Research is carried out on physical experimental platforms and targets applications in biological and medical technologies, human-centred systems, and advanced machinery for industry, transport, and agriculture. We emphasize collaborative, cross-disciplinary work and aim to translate fundamental research into reusable, high-quality solutions that address practical challenges.
