COS nv Information

COS nv is a Belgian manufacturer of retractable, fixed and mobile grandstands and seating solutions for sports, cultural and educational buildings. From our facilities in Oudenaarde, we develop, manufacture and install tailor-made solutions for theatres, concert halls, multifunctional venues, sports facilities, auditoriums and educational buildings. For us, a project starts with the space and how it will be used. How many seats are required? Which configurations should the venue accommodate? And how do we bring capacity, comfort, safety, flexibility and budget together in one solution? From an early stage, we work closely with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and end users. Our in-house engineering team translates their requirements and the technical constraints into a feasible solution, which we manufacture in Oudenaarde and install with our own teams. Belgium, the Netherlands and France are our home markets. In other European countries, we work with specialised local partners. They combine local market knowledge with expertise in grandstand and seating solutions, providing a direct local connection to COS. This means our technical knowledge and engineering expertise are never far away. Product and technology development also take place in-house. One example is the rigid chain technology developed by COS to provide controlled and synchronised operation of our retractable grandstands.
