Cortically began with a stroke. After a brain haemorrhage, our founder began trying to understand what had changed inside his own brain. A brain map gave him some answers. But the engineer in him asked a more fundamental question: How do we know the signal being analysed is the signal we actually measured? That question became Cortically. Cortically is building neural measurement infrastructure. Much of neurotechnology innovation begins after the signal has been recorded. Cortically starts earlier. We are rebuilding how neural signals are recorded, measured and verified, creating an evidence trail behind the measurement, not just a waveform. Everything built from neural signals, from clinical EEG and EEG research to brain mapping, biomarkers, AI, neurofeedback and neural therapies, depends on the quality of the data underneath. The aim is simple: don’t just record a brain signal. Prove why it can be trusted. EEG is where we start. Not where we stop. The measurement layer is the beginning, not the boundary.
