The Cornell Asian Alumni Association, Inc. (CAAA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization management company, concerned with the welfare and advancement of Cornell University's 30,000+ Asian Alumni and 4,000+ current students of Asian heritage. We are multinational, multiracial, multiethnic, and multigenerational. Founded in 1990, CAAA sponsors an annual Pan-Asian Banquet, Diwali Celebration, and multiple other social, educational, networking, and other events for Cornell students, alumni, and both. During 2020-21, we also sponsored multiple programs about the wave of anti-Asian bias & violence, and what to do about it. CAAA has endowed two Cornell Tradition Fellowships, as well as a Cornell Scholarship, to aid current Cornell students of Asian ancestry. We have also played a major role in the creation of the University's Asian / Asian American Student Center (A3C), as well as endowing its staff.
