Corlett Express Trucking was founded June 12, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company started with two tractors, four trailers, and four employees. The beginning service was limited to the metro Salt Lake City, Utah area In November 2000, a partnership with Backston Freight System, was formed to expand the service coverage to include Southern Utah and the Las Vegas, Nevada market. In 2001 service was expanded into Central Utah In 2002 service was expanded into the Price, Utah area In 2006 service was expanded into Southwestern Utah In 2009 service was expanded into the Uintah Basin area of Utah The Uintah Basin expansion completed our service coverage within the state of Utah. We currently service all urban and rural communities within the state of Utah. Most on a next day delivery basis. Corlett Express currently has 37 dedicated employees committed to the same core values that the original four Corlett family members started the company with. Work hard, Treat people as you would like to be treated, and do what is right. The service fleet has grown to include 19 tractors, 86 pup trailers, 5 long boxes, 4 straight trucks with lift gates. Our partner carrier Baxton Freight System currently has 10 employees, 8 tractors, and 20 trailers. We continue to offer quality service and fair competitive pricing during these challenging times by adapting our service to meet our customer's needs.
