Corey Smith Creative Information

Corey Smith is a digital artist working out of Central Illinois. His distinctive artistic style draws from a commercial illustration and graphic design background over the past two and a half decades. Corey’s art is strongly inspired by his passion for mid-century pop culture, tiki, horror genres, and Disney. Corey believes the journey is the most important part of the artistic process. Every color combination, every line, every detail in the creation of his work is a learning experiment that begins with a blank screen and culminates in a curious composition pulled from the deep recesses of his vivid imagination. Corey works primarily in Adobe Illustrator.
