COREsea is an international non-governmental organisation of scientists, naturalists, environmentalists and other amazing people with a peculiar passion for water. COREsea's field station based in the Gulf of Thailand conducts research and long-term monitoring of the coral reefs surrounding Koh Phangan and is a "seeing eye" station for the Department of Marine & Coastal Resources and local authorities. COREsea also cooperates with academic institutions to conduct research, aid in Bachelor and Master thesis', internships and university field excursions.
