CORE Athletic Training Information

CORE Athletic Training is a Newport Beach–based youth athletics organization dedicated to developing strong athletes with stronger characters. We design and deliver sports, school enrichment, recess, camp, basketball, performance, and private training programs that help children grow both on and off the playing field. Grounded in social-emotional learning, our programs combine athletic development with personal growth—building confidence, self-esteem, teamwork, respect, resilience, perseverance, leadership, and positive peer relationships. For schools and community partners, CORE provides engaging, structured, and inclusive athletics programs that promote physical activity, social connection, and character development. Our offerings include sports performance training, camps, after-school athletics, recess solutions, PE-style enrichment, basketball programs, private training, and events. What truly sets CORE apart is our coaching team. Our coaches are more than instructors—they are mentors and role models who understand the powerful impact sports can have on a child’s mental, physical, emotional, and social development. With backgrounds in sports performance, education, child development, psychology, sociology, and sports science, every CORE coach is also trained in social-emotional learning before leading a program. Whether partnering with schools, supporting families, training young athletes, or developing future coaches, our mission remains the same: to create positive athletic experiences that help kids become All-Stars in All Walks of Life.
