For nearly 80 years, The Cove School has believed that every child, given the appropriate support, accommodations and time, has the potential to learn, grow and flourish. The Cove School has changed lives and built futures for countless students and their families. The Cove School serves children with complex learning disabilities from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Cove is located in Northbrook, Illinois and serves approximately 150 students from over 50 different districts throughout the Chicagoland area.

Robert Todd Lincoln—son of President Abraham Lincoln—co-founded Glenwood Academy in 1887 with a mission to provide dependent, Illinois children with a training school and protective shelter. For over 130 years, Glenwood Academy has served as a critical resource for disenfranchised children—working to eliminate the impact of trauma and miseducation in a safe and nurturing environment. Excellence derives from knowledge, hard work, and innovation. By instilling strong life and leadership skills, Glenwood students are empowered to find their own voice to ensure a bright and successful future.
