The Cove School serves children with complex learning disabilities from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Cove is located in Northbrook, Illinois and serves approximately 150 students from over 50 different districts throughout the Chicagoland area.
Robert Todd Lincoln—son of President Abraham Lincoln—co-founded Glenwood Academy in 1887 with a mission to provide dependent, Illinois children with a training school and protective shelter. For over 130 years, Glenwood Academy has served as a critical resource for disenfranchised children—working to eliminate the impact of trauma and miseducation in a safe and nurturing environment.
