Above is me with my dog, Rosie. She comes to the job sites every day. Lunchtime is her favorite! My name is David Silverstein and I started Copper Leaf Development several years ago with the idea of building really cool houses, from conception through the final details. So many houses built today seem uninspired and cookie cutter. I'm driven to build houses I can be proud of, that are influenced by classic architectural details, that work to fit into their neighborhoods and are built with care and determination. Living and raising my family where I build makes this all the more important to me. I have surrounded myself with a staff and subcontractors who work hard and care about their product. We come to work every day trying to treat each other, our customers, vendors and neighbors as we would want to be treated ourselves. We try to be kind, accessible and fair and we try to think of our future and that of our children's by paying attention to energy efficiency and environmental stewardship in our projects. A lot goes into building a new house. We don't always get everything right the first time - but it's not for lack of effort.
