The Association of Game and Fantasy Enthusiasts "Thorn" was established in 2012 at the initiative of a group of friends who were enthusiasts of board games, role-playing games, and everything else related to fantasy. The main goal of formally founding the Association was the desire to share their passion with others by organizing a fantasy convention in Toruń, while preserving the name Copernicon used by previous organizers. The characteristic formula of amateur festivals organized by fans for fans in Poland has always been our driving force. Thanks to growing collaboration with the Nicolaus Copernicus University, the City Hall, and the Artus Court, we are also expanding our year-round activities by organizing the Gravity Board Games Day and running the Fantastic House of Culture.
