Coperforma Information

Coperforma is an NHS Innovation and Framework Provider that specialises in the full spectrum of hospital transport needs, including non-urgent and specialist patient transport. The company was founded by Michael Clayton in 2008 to provide NHS hospitals with an optimised, technology-based patient transport service that would transform hospital transport while costing the NHS significantly less to run. Coperforma’s client list includes University College London Hospital, Royal Free Hampstead, Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, Mersey Care and Basingstoke and Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. The company’s services are available by direct assignment or through various framework agreements. Coperforma is Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered and has an Information Governance (IG) Toolkit rating of 100% at Level 3. All of Coperforma’s transport partners are accredited and certified by GRC Improvement (GRCI), an independent company offering world class governance, compliance and improvement management services. In September 2012, Coperforma were announced as the winner of The HSJ Efficiency Award for Efficiency in the Transport and Logistics category and the was the national Value in Healthcare Awards Winner in 2014
