Convion offers solutions for ultra-clean and efficient power generation by fuel cells and hydrogen production by high temperature electrolysis. Solid oxide cell technology (SOC) at the heart of Convion’s systems provides the highest efficiency conversion of fuel to electricity or of steam to hydrogen. Convion fuel cell systems (SOFC) are continuously operating, modular power generators, which can flexibly use natural gas or biogas as a fuel and are able to operate in parallel to the power grid or independently from it. The technology is particularly suited for distributed power generation as its performance is independent of scale. Convion electrolysers (SOE) produce hydrogen from steam with excellent energy efficiency, providing customers with competitive solution for hydrogen production.
