It’s a comprehensive source of information for contract workers in the UK and also a sounding board for your views on the issues, events, tools and resources that are specific to our industry. Contractr is growing every day as new people lend their voice and share their experiences, but the idea was kicked off by Jamie Henderson, Neil Streete and Julian Young – all contractors themselves – in Edinburgh in late 2011, after agreeing that this kind of site was needed. The site officially launched in 2012 and now has contributors across the UK.
