Context Information

Context was founded in 1999 by six journalists/development cooperation experts, who had worked with development cooperation for a number of years. Today Context is a consultant and journalist group, cooperating with a wide network of people in Sweden and in other parts of the world. The members of Context have different specialties, through academic studies and long experiences in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Israel/Palestine. Most of us work in areas of special interest and competence, like democracy and rights issues, international trade union issues, development cooperation methodologies, the environment. Some of us work mostly with studies and evaluations while others mainly work in journalism. Our customers are a large number of Swedish and international development cooperation organizations, government authorities, newspapers and magazines.
