Located in the dress circle of McLaren Vale from its stunning cellar door and vineyards, Hugh Hamilton Wines is a dynamic 6th generation wine business.
The Hamilton family planted the first vineyards at Glenelg in 1837 and made the first wine in the colony of South Australia.
This rich 180 year history thrives in the modern wine world where it has carved out its own progressive niche.
Situated among rolling hills on the banks of Greenock Creek, located in Seppeltsfield-Barossa Valley, Hentley Farm is a boutique single estate vineyard that produces distinctive wines reflective of the exceptional site.
At this winery there is a clear emphasis on quality.
Château Tanunda, Icon of the Barossa, was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the Valley’s earliest vines as well as its first winery. The Château is privately owned by the Geber family who continue a tradition of fine winemaking spanning three centuries. We are home the the Old Vine Expressions wines, an iconic collection of wines from some of the oldest vineyards in the world dating back 50, 100 and 150 years in age.
