Our firm is pleased to introduce our special inspection agency and testing laboratory. Construction Testing Laboratories, Inc. (CTL) is located in the Tacoma area where we have resided for over fifteen years. CTL maintains the highest level of accreditation available for technical competence that is available in our industry, As set forth in ISO17025:2005 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories). CTL is accredited through such accrediting bodies as A2LA, AASHTO (R-18) and in accordance with ASTM E-329. We also maintain validation with the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE). Our laboratory and our inspectors are certified through the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO) ICC, ACI and NICET, meeting the requirements of several Washington municipalities. CTL subscribes to proficiency testing with CCRL and AMRL and is routinely audited by same. We have a staff of engineering technicians and special inspectors that through continuous training are kept current on all codes including the newest building code standard, International Code Counsel (ICC). We offer a full range of services on a wide variety of projects. Whether your project requires a full time resident inspector or services on a periodic basis we can accommodate your schedule.
