Offered through the Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, Constructing Futures is an integrated occupational skills training program that provides essential workplace skills and access to the labour market for immigrant professionals (currently on E.I., or have been on E.I. in the past 5 years) and want to pursue careers in project management. The program provides 16 weeks of full-time employment preparation skills training to participants and a 10-week full-time unpaid work experience with an Edmonton employer in any industry supporting project management. Participants will build their skills in effective Canadian business communication, Canadian workplace culture, Microsoft Project, workplace safety, employment standards and employment readiness.
