Construct Prefab Consultants helps mechanical and plumbing contractors design and improve fab shops that support real production. Our work is built on almost 40 years of real world hands on experience in fabrication, fab shop operations, pipe welding, pipefitting, plumbing fabrication, structural fabrication, field installation, shop development, and fab shop leadership. We understand how this work gets built because we have lived it from the craft side, the field side, and the operational side. We look at prefab as a complete system. A fab shop is not just a building with machines in it. It only works when layout, workflow, material flow, equipment strategy, production tracking, and the support from the office, the shop, and the field are all aligned. Construct Prefab Consultants works with contractors who are building new fab shops or improving existing ones. Our focus is on facility layout, workflow, material handling, equipment strategy, and fabrication systems that support the work each contractor is actually trying to build. We also understand how the right investment in equipment, when it is placed inside the right system, can make a major difference in productivity, quality, and output. The goal is not to fill a building with equipment. The goal is to design a fab shop that works, supports production, and gives contractors a stronger foundation for prefab. For almost eight years, we have traveled the country working with contractors and seeing fab shops in the real world. That exposure has provided a broad view of what is actually working, what is not, and how companies are really using equipment, software, and fabrication systems.
