Conspec Materials Inc Information

Conspec Materials, Inc. is an American Owned, & Family Owned distributor of commercial and industrial sealants, coatings, and waterproofing products in the Tampa Bay Florida Area. Conspec was founded by Alan George in the 1970's as a construction specifiers company for architects and engineers in the Tampa Bay Area. With Alan's petroleum engineering background, years of contractor experience in both California and Florida, and sales force background from Sonneborn Chemical & Refining Corp New York, he was able to create a one of a kind product specifiers company. However after specifying many different waterproofing and construction materials he realized there was no local suppliers in the area for the products specified. And in 1976 Conspec Materials, Inc. was born, which in turn was responsible for bringing many new construction products to the Florida market. Now almost 40 years later, Conspec Materials, Inc is the "go-to" company for contractors to rely on for caulking, sealers, roof & deck coatings, and waterproofing solutions. By offering industry leading materials along with proven solutions for our clients budget and application, which has earned Conspec Materials a reputation as the real problem solvers in the construction supply industry. Our success has been made possible by having a team of dedicated employees and technical salespeople who have extensive experience in the Material Selection process and relationships with the Leading Manufacturers of today. We have been involved with many Historic Restoration projects, and High Profile projects in the Tampa Bay Area and Beyond.
