Consilience Analytics & Discovery Pty Ltd (“ConsilAD”) is a specialised eDiscovery provider focused on collecting and interpreting data from open sources (public data) using forensic methodologies and technologies. Consilience refers to the principle that evidence from independent, unrelated sources can "converge" to strong conclusions. When multiple sources of evidence are in agreement, the conclusion can be very strong even when none of the individual sources of evidence is significantly so on its own. Importantly, conclusions are more reliable and able to withstand adversarial scrutiny when sources agree and are able to be shown to be independent. ConsilAD’s forensic technology and methodology enables economic and rigorous acquisition of electronically stored information from diverse sources, stored in disparate formats across a range of online repositories such as, social media, web sites, blogs and mobile applications. Analytic and eDiscovery technologies and methodologies are foundations of our work. These allow us to aggregate, categorise and interpret data to assist with clinical matters, legal cases and claims management.
