The leader in wilderness education since 1965. NOLS is a nonprofit global wilderness school that will help you step forward boldly as a leader. We believe that anyone can be a leader; it's our role to provide the environment and training to help you discover your full potential. We do that in classrooms close to home and in remote wilderness areas around the world. We're an organization with heart, expertise, and wildness, and these qualities help us support powerful, authentic experiences. The Student Conservation Association (SCA) is the largest provider of hands-on environmental conservation programs for youth and adults. Founded in 1957, the SCA has provided more than 100,000 young people with opportunities to protect the planet through conservation projects at national parks, marine sanctuaries, cultural landmarks, and community green spaces across the country. After working with the SCA, our program participants emerge with increased environmental awareness, social responsibility and leadership skills. The SCA is dedicated to building the next generation of conservation leaders while inspiring lifelong protection of the environment and the communities we serve.
