We're a family-run specialist in complex, whole-house refurbishment for social landlords, delivered by our own Connolly people. We were founded in 1980 by Tony Connolly and his son Chris now runs the business. Tony still pops in to keep an eye on us though. We work for dozens of local councils and social housing landlords across the north of England and Wales, employing over 310 people to create safer, warmer and decent homes. Whether it's tired kitchens or bathrooms that need sprucing up, replacement doors, windows, roofing or electricals that keep homes secure and compliant, or insulation, solar panels and other works that will improve energy efficiency, we are experts in major programmes of work, spanning hundreds of homes across large estates. Clients also choose Connolly for our excellent customer care, with dedicated liaison officers engaging with residents to keep them fully informed and reassured before, during and after works are done on their home. We believe in meaningful connections that inspire us to make a positive impact on people and where they live. Beyond the frameworks we're appointed to, we are out in our local communities every day, volunteering our time and skills to make a difference. A lot of our effort goes into providing employment opportunities for young people and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, including doing careers talks in schools, offering work experience and apprenticeships and making sure we keep our own supply chain local.
