CongrueIT was established in 2012 for the purpose of operating an online marketplace for IT contingent labor. CongrueIT has created a sophisticated online platform which allows consultants to register their skills and customers to post jobs. The platform matches consultants to jobs based on a proprietary algorithm and invites consultants to bid on jobs. Customers can review consultant profiles and bids, and award the jobs. CongrueIT establishes a contract for the delivery and payment of jobs. The platform also allows consultants to enter timesheets and manages customer satisfaction and approval of timesheets. CongrueIT invoices and collects payments from clients and pays consultants. CongrueIT actively manages the quality of the services contracted on the market. In many ways, CongrueIT can be compared to the guilds of Europe established by craftsmen to manage the quality and trade in their craft. As it happens with the craftsmen and their guilds, consultants can only bid on a job in CongrueIT after going through a rigorous qualification process conducted by a CongrueIT “Master Craftsmen” (MCs). During the delivery of a job, MCs monitor the quality of services that consultants deliver to clients, and clients acknowledge on a weekly basis the receipt of services and an indication of their satisfaction. In the event a client is not satisfied, an MC will get involved to improve the services to meet client requirements. CongrueIT is unique in the industry in that it has developed a proprietary set of algorithms that are capable of accurately predicting a consultant’s ability to perform a given consulting assignment. These algorithms calculate an objective “Congruence Score” that allows customers to rank and prioritize subcontractor bids they receive for their posted jobs.
