Hillel Day School is a vibrant Jewish day school serving students from Early Childhood through 8th grade in Metro Detroit. For generations, Hillel has inspired students to think deeply, learn boldly, and develop a strong sense of identity, purpose, and responsibility. Our exceptional academic program integrates general and Jewish studies while fostering curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Rooted in Jewish values and enriched by a welcoming community, Hillel empowers students to grow as confident learners, compassionate leaders, and engaged members of the Jewish community and broader world. At the heart of Hillel are relationships. Our dedicated educators know and support each child as an individual, creating an environment where students feel a strong sense of belonging and are encouraged to discover their strengths and reach their full potential. The impact of a Hillel education extends far beyond graduation. Our alumni carry the relationships, values, skills, and Jewish identity developed at Hillel into their careers, families, and communities. Follow Hillel to stay connected with our students, educators, alumni, community partners, and the stories that make our school such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.

The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Metropolitan Detroit aims to support Jewish unity, ensure Jewish continuity and enrich Jewish lives while conveying the importance of well-being within the Jewish and general community. To support our mission of inclusion, we welcome everyone to use our facilities and participate in our programs.
