In Late 2013 we encountered a problem with organising the players in a team for online gaming. Similar organisational problems were showing their head in the mobile gaming industry. We set out to solve this problem by allowing players to organise their communities better by introducing a platform that allows them to share information, schedules and match results. As we developed the product we realised that the problems existed in a far greater scope than just online and mobile gaming communities but extended to most small organisational groups. We are now continually developing a product that aims to address the communication and organisational problems that small communities face in their day to day operation. The Comune platform will enable small organisations to communicate with their members, streamline competitive aspects and ultimately grow these communities. Comune.IT will be a development house supplying development functions to organisations in a model where the usual development cost is crowd-sourced from the members of the client organisations. In the immediate future, the company will consist of two employees; one developer and one accountant sharing between them the responsibilities of the development of the platform in its entirety, the day to day operations and customer onboarding and support. These two roles are specifically chosen as the knowledge shared between the individuals cover most if not all of the required functionality of a business of this kind and the skills required to develop a product such as the Comune Platform
