COMsciences, Inc. is headquartered in Los Angeles California with offices in Paris, London and Shanghai. Since its inception in 1989, it has offered strategic advice for products and services to the world's largest consumer electronics brands including Nintendo, Mitsubishi, Sanyo, Sony, Hitachi, Microsoft and a host of others. Our core competence is new media where we specialize in gaming, internet and wireless and mobile communications. In 2004, we launched an entirely new category of mobile devices called pocket Mobile Companions. Mobile Companions are palm-sized low-cost multimedia devices that allow consumers to take advantage of convergent technologies like WiFi, WiMAX, wireless FM radio and steaming video. The first prototype received rave reviews in Europe for its simplicity and elegant design. It was a simple Bluetooth accessory for mobile phones that permitted users of small inexpensive handsets to have the power and ergonomics of more expensive Smartphones and wireless PDA's at a fraction of the price. In 2007, we launched IMOVIO our in-house brand of pocket Mobile Companions. IMOVIO was born in Southern California where mobility is a way of life and new technologies and ideas take root quickly and propagate all over the world. IMOVIO's first product, a palm-sized laptop alternative called the "IKIT", is scheduled for launch in the final quarter of 2008. COMsciences partnered with mobile network operators and ISP's in Europe and the US to ensure the IKIT would have the essential features that tech savvy young consumers want at a price they can afford. COMsciences is a proud partner of France Telecom's Orange Labs in Europe, who have provided technical advice and integration expertise during iKIT's development.
