In 2001, founding members Diana K. Williams and Marvin V. Church incorporated Comrie Enterprises, LLC, a multifaceted company offering business consulting services in real estate and energy. The company is committed to the energy and real estate needs of disenfranchised communities. Comrie will be the Campaign Director for the new New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Clean Heating and Cooling Campaign. (A launch date will be announced soon.) Under the Clean Heating and Cooling Campaign, Comrie will provide cost-free services to: - Educate Mount Vernon and New Rochelle building owners about clean energy options (heat pumps and insulation) as an alternative to oil and gas heating and cooling. Include single-family, multifamily, commercial, and community spaces such as places of worship, community centers, non-profit spaces. - Train members of the community to become heat pump installers. Guide low and middle-income property owners building owners through the maze of heat pump selection. Identify financing for heat pump installations for all property owners.
