ComputerWise, a privately held U.S. based corporation founded in 1971 as a provider of off-the-shelf as well as custom software and systems for the manufacturing marketplace, has since 1981 manufactured factory data collection systems and equipment. Our product line consists of compact keyboard/display units, networking hubs ( TIM1B) and concentrators (TLD2), plus application software. Today ComputerWise manufactures a wide-range of data collection terminals, both stationary and portable, as well as Ethernet based terminals and our EC305 Ethernet Time Clock and EC305-FP Biometric Time Clock. These products are sold primarily through value-added re-sellers, vertical market software houses, and also to large sophisticated end-users (see our Products Overview). In aggregate, ComputerWise has sold over 130,000 shop-floor terminals to over 5,000 commercial customers in the United States and 30+ foreign countries. ComputerWise has twenty-five employees and operates out of a 13,000 square foot production facility located in Olathe, Kansas.
