Compute Ontario works with funders, service providers and other partners to ensure that Ontario researchers have access to advanced computing, research software and research data management services, tools and experts. We do this by providing strategic leadership and funding coordination to sustain and grow Ontario’s digital research infrastructure (DRI) – hardware, software, data management, data storage, high-speed networks and computational expertise supplied by a variety of academic, non-profit and for-profit organizations. We work with stakeholders in this complex ecosystem to build partnerships and co-create a clear vision for the future of Ontario’s DRI. We advocate on behalf of the ecosystem and the researchers it serves. Our goal is to realize the full potential of the DRI in advancing research, innovation, and creation in Ontario.
