CompSoc is a student-run organisation at the University of Edinburgh which focuses on the technology, theory and practice of Computer Science and its adjacent fields. With over 2,400 members and 26 years of continuous operation, we are the largest and most established society of its kind in Scotland. By bringing together industry-leading companies and prominent figures in academia, we aim to provide our members with the knowledge and opportunities necessary for them to become world-leading technological innovators and experts. Through the establishment of special interest groups (SIGs), we strive to equip our members with multidisciplinary expertise in various fields of computer science, spanning artificial intelligence (EdinburghAI), cybersecurity (SIGINT), theoretical computer science (TypeSig) and more. Our flagship events include our monthly Student Tech Meet-Ups and our flagship HackTheBurgh hackathon, which attracts over 200 of the UK's brightest minds for the largest student-led hackathon in Scotland. For collaboration or sponsorship enquiries, please reach out to us via email at partners@compsoc.com.
