Most tools trade rigour for speed: simplified dispatch, zonal approximations, and revenue forecasts that ignore how competing assets erode one another's margins. For battery storage, ignoring fleet-level cannibalisation systematically overstates returns and financing built on those numbers inherit the error. We close that gap. In validation: CENovaSage, nodal capacity expansion built on nested adaptive nested Benders decomposition, with production-cost, resource-adequacy and techno-economic modules to follow and producing US continental forecasts each day.
