Compost Cincy is Cincinnati's only urban commercial composting facility specializing in recycling all types of food, yard and other various types of organic waste. We receive all types of organic waste that cannot be recycled using traditional techniques whether it is wax covered cardboard, wood chips, produce, meat and poultry products, food scraps, manure and straw. We grind, mix and place the materials to be composted in long rows. After carefully monitoring and managing the rows, the organic material has transformed into valuable compost products including soil amendments and mulch. Our products are sold in bulk and can be purchased at our facility. Our goal is to divert as much food, yard and organic waste from the landfill as possible and transform it into compost products for gardens, construction projects, stormwater management and more.
