Compathos Foundation Information

Compathos Foundation is a nonprofit media organization dedicated to advancing positive social and environmental change through storytelling, creative collaboration, and public engagement. Since 2010, we have produced and supported award-winning films, interactive media, publishing projects, student internships and media expeditions, educational screenings, and community events. Our original publishing platform featured more than 1,500 educational resources and awareness-raising videos connecting stories with opportunities for learning and action. Our flagship initiative, Films for the Planet, offers a curated collection of outstanding environmental and social-action films on demand. Through screenings and real-time events, we bring audiences into conversation with filmmakers, subject-matter experts, educators, and changemakers. Compathos also supports independent filmmakers and purpose-driven artists through fiscal sponsorship, collaborative partnerships, and strategic guidance. Our community brings together artists, media professionals, students, nonprofits, and movement-builders who believe stories can deepen understanding, strengthen human connection, and inspire meaningful collective action. Our work is powered by the commitment of our Board of Directors, interns, volunteers, donors, and creative collaborators.
