Compass Limited was founded in April 1980 providing equipment service and maintenance for the commercial oil and gas industry and under the stewardship of owner Mr. Eugene Mercer has since developed into a full scale shop and field machining facility and moderate scale welding service. Compass operates out of a 5000 sq. ft. machine and fabrication facility and also has a standalone 1000 sq. ft. support shop. The facility is located on Terminal Road in Long Pond, Conception Bay South, part of the greater St. john's area and located minutes away from the Donovan's and Octagon Pond industrial parks. . The access road has normal restrictions in place and material can be delivered through either road or sea - being located only 500m from the Long Pond Wharf and freight terminal.
