Dr. Leslie Smith is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties. She attended Duke University on a full scholarship for her undergraduate studies then received the UNC Board of Governor's Scholarship to attend East Carolina University, where she received her medical degree. She is active with the UNC Jaycee Burn Center Advisory Board and with the Boone Sunrise Rotary Club. In addition to her professional career, Dr. Smith is a dog lover and has four unruly rescue dogs - Bubba, Annie, Danny Boy and Chloe. She also loves the mountains and has lived in the Boone high country for over 12 years. We provide care in a comfortable home-like setting for simple to complex medical conditions. Dr. Smith has had extensive training in the spectrum from out patient care to critical care in the intensive care unit. Not feeling well or just need an annual exam? We do it all!
