Companion Animal Cremation Service Information

Companion Animal Cremation Service is dedicated to honoring the human-animal bond manifesting itself as unconditional love and loyalty between humans and their companion animals. Our services are offered directly to families of companion animals. Our primary service area is within a 25 mile radius of our facility, located in Mechanicsburg PA. However, we will also service other areas, when requested by the family. CACS offers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, emergency pick-up service of your deceased companion animal. We normally can provide pick-up service within four hours of notification of the need for our service. All pickups are provided by a Companion Animal Cremation Service representative, in a clearly marked vehicle. Before removal, the body is placed into a cremation/burial shroud, placed on a stretcher, and transported to our funeral home for cremation or burial. Companion Animal Cremation Service invites companion animal families to attend the private cremation and receive the cremated remains of their companion animal, shortly after the cremation is completed. The average completion time for cremation is 1.5 to 4 hours. The cremated remains of your companion animal are placed into a complimentary cedar urn, with a brass plate and a picture frame, or display urn depending on the family's wishes. If you do not wish to or are unable to attend the cremation, the same level of care and procedure is assured. Your companion animal's cremated remains will be returned to your home by a CACS staff member or alternatively, you may wish to pick up your companion animal's cremated remains at our office. From the very beginning, CACS has recognized the importance of delivering the highest standard of service in what is a difficult and often delicate time. Our commitment is reflected in all stages of the business from the company's facilities, the way the companion animals are handled and transported, and the expediency of the completion of the cremation. All aspects of this service will be handled with the utmost professionalism. Some people may be cynical about the lengths to which we as pet guardians will go to ensure a dignified end for their companion animal. But, CACS recognizes the strength of the bond between guardian and their companion animal, and the dramatic effect that the severing of this bond can have.
