Founded in 1987, Compactors, Inc. is headquartered on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Initially, Compactors Inc. concentrated its efforts on the marketing of waste compaction equipment and systems. However, as new environmental solid waste regulations were implemented and the recycling of paper, glass, aluminum, metal and plastic became feasible, and sometimes mandatory, our commercial volume reduction product line was expanded to include equipment and systems such as vertical trash compactors, chute fed trash compactors, trash compactor bags, densifiers, shredders, aluminum can crushers, aerosol can crushers, drum crusher and packer, paint can crushers, glass crushers, balers and waste reduction accessories. Today, Compactors Inc. is recognized as a world leader in the fields of solid waste volume reduction and pre-recycling processing.
