Community Hospice of Texas and Providence Hospice understand that choosing hospice for end-of-life care and support is a difficult decision. Community Hospice of Texas and Providence Hospice have been providing home care, inpatient care and respite care since 1995 to patients that have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and given a prognosis of six months or less. All care and support are provided wherever our patient's call home - personal residence, assisted living facility, nursing home, hospital or one of our three home-like hospice inpatient facilities. Our Interdisciplinary Team of physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and nurse aides work closely to provide the best plan of care to meet the needs of our patients and families. Community Hospice of Texas and Providence Hospice also provide a perinatal and pediatric hospice program. Little Doves Perinatal and Pediatric Program is a specialized pediatric program that serves pediatric patients from pre-birth to early adulthood who are challenged in life by cancer, neurological disorders, diseases of the heart and lungs, neonatal diseases and congenital abnormalities.
