Community Health Education and Research Cooperation (CHERC) was founded on the idea of helping to improve the health of the community. Ever since our organization was established, we have participated in health education fairs, trained mental health instructors, referred mental health patients to service providers and distributed Literature on the warning signs of mental health disorders. Our organization is made up of certified mental health instructors, diabetes educators and educators on other health adversities. We have partnered with non-profit organizations in Prince Georges County, Montgomery County and the District of Columbia, where we inform, educate and empower the public on mental health disorders and other health issues.
