Established by a decree from H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai in July 2008, the Community Development Authority (CDA) focuses on all aspects of community development in Dubai in a sustainable, holistic, innovative, and inclusive manner—through strong partnerships with government, private, and non-profit sectors. We are committed to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and fostering community belonging—with a special focus on children of determination, senior citizens, orphans, juveniles, and other vulnerable groups. Our integrated services are designed to protect rights, promote inclusive education and employment, and support families and communities through awareness and training programs. Community Engagement: CDA promotes volunteering and civic participation through programs that empower youth and residents to contribute to Dubai’s social fabric. Governance: We license and oversee social service providers, ensuring quality, sustainability, and transparency.
