Community Chorus Competitors

For over 25 years, the St. Peters Choral Society has been serving the community through the performance of choral music. From our beginning in 1991, our mission has always been to perform quality choral music from all eras and styles, sacred and secular, historical and modern, solely for the joy of both singer and audience. A non-audition choral ensemble, the choir has grown to over 100 members from St. Charles and St. Louis Counties, ranging from teen to senior and bringing a wide variety of musical backgrounds and interests. Many of our singers have been members since our beginning, and we gladly welcome new members each season. We typically perform two major concerts per year, plus a few smaller performances within the community. Whether you're looking for information about our rehearsals, upcoming performances, joining the choir, or supporting our efforts with your financial contribution, you will find all this and more on our website. Thank you for stopping by, and keep singing!

THE CONCORD CHORUS, a nonprofit organization founded in 1945, occupies an honored place in the musical life of Concord, Massachusetts and surrounding communities. Now celebrating its 70th anniversary season, the 110-voice Concord Chorus is a wonderful group of welcoming people who enjoy singing and learning excellent choral repertoire and performing at the highest level. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings in Concord, Massachusetts. Under the leadership of its Music Director, Dr. Kevin Leong, the Concord Chorus invites you to share in a musical experience that will be fun and fulfilling. The repertory of the Concord Chorus encompasses choral-orchestral and smaller works from the 16th century to the present. This winter, the Chorus performed sacred and secular works by Palestrina, Pachelbel, Bach, Mendelssohn, Randall Thompson, and Dominick Argento for the holiday season. In the spring, the Chorus will perform Mozart's "Requiem" with professional soloists and orchestra and a new choral-orchestral work by Michael Schachter commissioned for the Chorus's 70th anniversary. Our next open rehearsals will be held in September 2016. If you love classical choral music, please consider joining us! Tenors and basses are especially welcome.
