Community Building Services was started with just that in mind. We asked ourselves, How do we provide a career for ourselves while doing the work we enjoy, all while building the community around us. And what a wonderful community Mason, and the surrounding Mid-Michigan area; has been to start this journey with. In 2012 Jared Browers and Clayton Shafer started Community Building Services in a small office in Downtown Mason. Working in the field, office and at times as janitors and receptionists they built the business to what it is today, at its current office and shop at the "corner" (4505 W. Columbia Road In Mason). Today we offer a full line of construction services to historic, residential and commercial clients throughout Mid-Michigan. We focus on providing clients a project that they would want to do again.
