Established in 2003, CommRadio is a student-run, web-based radio station at Penn State University. CommRadio broadcasts a nightly newscast, a variety of student talk shows, and play-by-play of all Penn State sports. The station has grown by leaps and bounds in just a few short years and is now home to more than 200 independent producers. When student programming is not on the air, CommRadio supplements its coverage with Associated Press All-News Radio and soft rock music.
