Common Need is changing the education paradigm for the way individuals collect, organize, analyze and access data. Our mission was simple: to create truly innovative, feature-rich, yet affordable, tools and resources for software users and developers at any level to turn data into actionable information and knowledge. Our focus was providing next gen data discovery and integration software to the education industry via our flagship software platform called plugjam. With the advent of the plugjam platform we allowed students, teachers, and administrators to utilize their own tools and organize data their own way and not be constrained to do so. The platform enabled internal and external data sources to be integrated into a series of secure datastreams for self-service application development, business intelligence, situational integration, intelligent social interaction and more.
