The Fulbright Commission in Brussels has been creating connections and changing lives for seventy five years. In 1948, the Commission for Educational Exchange between the United States of America, Belgium, and Luxembourg was established with the goal of increasing mutual understanding through academic exchange between citizens of Belgium and Luxembourg and citizens of the United States. Over the past seven decades, the Fulbright Commission in Brussels has facilitated the academic exchange of over 4000 students, researchers, teaching assistants, and professors between the United States of America and Belgium and Luxembourg. Today, the Fulbright Commission provides grants for passionate and accomplished students, scholars, teachers, artists, and professionals of all backgrounds to study, teach, and conduct research, helping to build mutual understanding and find solutions to critical international concerns.
