CMS’ objective is to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns for its investors throughout economic cycles. At CMS, we take a thematic, systemic and catalyst-driven approach to real estate investing. Our flagship fund, CMS Tactical Opportunities ("TacOpps"​) I, employs a process-oriented, research-driven process that combines both top-down and bottoms up analyses along with emphasizing both Micro and Macro investment perspectives. CMS TacOpps I (the “Fund”) delivers a commercial real estate (“CRE”) credit strategy that targets middle-market lending opportunities in key gateway cities. The Fund employs a direct origination model, with an emphasis on relationship building, while seeking to capture illiquidity and complexity premia. The Fund targets special situations opportunities for which traditional capital is less readily available, including bridge loans, construction & development financing, and complex recapitalizations, all of which require a nuanced, solution-driven approach.
