Earl, a principal of Commerce Realty and Management Company, has been involved in some of the Midwest's largest retail projects and brings more than 30 years of experience and national-level retail contacts to the Commerce Realty team. Earl joined Commerce Realty from Visser Development, Inc., where he served as president for 16 years. While at Visser, he was responsible for the development, management, leasing and sale of numerous West Michigan retail centers. Earl previously served as Director of Marketing for several regional malls, including Grand Rapids based Woodland Mall and Chicago based Woodfield Mall on behalf of Taubman Company, an international developer of regional malls. Earl's early years with the Taubman Company prepared him for his success as a major retail broker. Earl has been actively involved in the leadership of the International Council of Shopping Centers ("ICSC") serving for more than 14 years on the Executive Committee of ICSC-Michigan. Earl also sits as a Director of the Grand Rapids Commercial Association of Realtors and has involved himself with numerous community organizations.
