Commerce Industries, Inc., established in 1959, manufactures small to medium size prototype metal stampings and assemblies. Our design and engineering facilities provide information to assist our customers in minimizing problems that might occur without proper pre-release testing. We are capable of short run and production support with the necessary tooling and fixtures being produced in our machine shop. The ability to develop a manufactured part from conception to completion is one of our greatest assets. We are conveniently located in southwest Oakland County in the City of Wixom, Michigan. Our plant has 30,100 square feet of manufacturing space, and 11,300 square feet of office and engineering space. Equipment lists are continually updated and are available upon request. For prototypes to succeed as the basis for developing future products, we must retain four major elements as a base for our operations. TIMELY DELIVERY - To ensure a timely delivery and to accurately track costs, we have a computerized system of estimating and recording jobs, providing us with delivery dates and variances from standards we have set.
