Comitech S.A. was founded in 2002 in Ioannina, Greece and is an innovative IT company focusing on the development of web and mobile applications and a market leader/innovator in the creation of multimedia content for the internet in Greece. Our multimedia content includes virtual tours, 360 degree panoramic photography, gigapixel photography, 360 degree immersive video, 3D animations, object movies, digitization services, 3-axis timelapse video, aerial (360 degree panoramic & conventional) photography and video. This content is used to enrich web sites and portals, mobile and rich-media interactive applications we develop. We also provide georeferenced multimedia content for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and other digital map-based applications. Our services are mainly utilized (but not limited) for the promotion of culture and tourism, e-commerce and georeferenced applications. Comitech S.A. also provides consulting and advertising services to public and private bodies. The company is committed to quality and customer satisfaction and is certified according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and the Hellenic Standard ELOT 1435:2009 for its communication services. Our efforts and development strategy with emphasis on innovation were rewarded through the “European Business Awards” where COMITECH S.A. was awarded the title of “National Champion” for Greece for 2014/2015. Comitech S.A. recently achieved a great new distinction as the recipient of the 2015 Bronze Stevie Award (International Business Awards) as Company of the Year - Internet/New Media.
